Well this is part 2 of the project and I hope
you will enjoy it like part 1.
This pictures I made when we had
to change some money again.
Here you can see the Citadella again.
It is right on top of the Gellert mountain,
so you can see it from many angels.
This one is on the Gellert road and
you can see many of these kind
of big houses, which are split
in several beautiful apartments.
Here I'm parked alongside the Danube.
In the distance you can see the
freedom bridge.
This is the house of the neighbors
where I stayed in Buda. It was
really in the rich part of Buda.
This was a private house but
most of these houses consists of
different apartments and were
rented in a price range between
1000 and 2000 dollars a month.
It is time to leave Budapest. I had to
go to Debrecen and here we are
halfway in the flat part of the country.
This picture is taken only 30 kilometers from
Debrecen. I stopped because the graveyard
in the back had these strange marks as crosses.
The next day we left Debrecen very early
and we stopped in a little village to have
breakfast. It was a sunny day again and
we only had to cross the country from
one side near Romania back to the
other side near Austria.
Just outside Budapest we had a second stop.
In this place was also one of the best
coffeehouse, our piano player told us.
He was right, it was a shit place
with indeed very good coffee.
Finally we arrived at the last place
where Jimmy Carl Black and the
band Cosmik Debris had to play.
It was in Öcs and it was a beautiful
place in a real nice valley.
The next day we left early again and
before midday we were at the Hungarian
border. We ought some wine and changed
the last Forints and off we were to Austria.
We did not stayed in the casino and we had
only one real stop in Austria to drink some
coffee and eat an ice-cream on a terrace.
And here we are already, parked in
front of Jimmy's and Moni's house
in the little town Siegsdorf.
Only a few stops I made a few days
later when I left Siegsdorf to go home.
This must be somewhere in the
middle west of Germany.
Only a few days I stayed in Holland and
I was already on the road again to
the Ardennes in Belgium with my kids.
On the camping we stayed in Houyet
we saw some beautiful nice combinations.
We made several trips in the surrounding
and one was to the gardens of Chevetogne.
I saw this little waterfall there.
On the way back I took this one
just in the country. It was again
a very nice sunny day.
This one is taken on the camping
where I rented a caravan.
This was the combination of another
elderly Belgium couple. A nice Ford
and a caravan from 1965 with it.
This picture is also taken close to Houyet.
You see these little chapels on many
places alongside the road in Belgium.
It is already August 23 and
in 8 days the
Brabantse dag in Heeze starts. It is one
of the special events that take place and
I try mostly to be there and see the parade.
A few of my friends participate in it and
I took a quick look what they gonna
build this year. I can tell you it will be great.
