24th. Kaláka festival, Day 4 Sunday 13-07-2003

On this day I could not make any pictures
because all my cards from my digitally camera
were full. Again it was a great program with
bands as Arasinda, Nigun, Ökörs Zenekar,
Kaláka,Compania Electrica Dharma,
Simply English and Ferenczi György és a
Herfli Davidson.

Specially Ökörs Zenekar with their two performances
stole my heart and later acoustic was another
very special moment. Ferenczi György és a
Herfli Davidson also impressed me with their
Balkan Bolero and other spontaneous songs.
Simply English was one of the few bands
I could understand the lyrics.
Compania Electrica Dharma was one piece
of energy getting all the young kids to dance.
And we can go on like that with all the performers.
They were all great and I hope people will email
pictures and sound of them so I can add that later.
Sent this please to;
zapguz@zapguz.nl

I got some pictures later from some friends.
This one is me, learning to shoot with a bow.
Martin S. Past took the picture.

The next 3 are made by Pandi Zsuzsa.
The first one is the inside of her shop
in Budapest.

The next one is when Ivans performed on the festival.
The small bells in front are made by my friend
Steve Hubback. See his site for more information.

The last one I do not know who this is.
I remember his face but I can not place
it with the group, or remember the music.
If someone knows more, please let me know.

Of course I could not see everything on all the stages, but most
of what I saw was from great quality and enjoyed by both
the musicians and the public.
I'm sure I'll be back next year to celebrate the
25th anniversary of this great festival
and I hope to see you all again and also
many new people who read these pages.
I thank Pándi Zsuzsa and Kaláka for the invitation.
